Branding & website development: Havem
Havem Pharma Consultancy was founded by a senior Life Science consultant with more than 25 years of experience within the Biotech and (Bio)pharmaceutical field, to deliver quality services to the either large established companies or startups within the pharmaceutical industry.
The assignment was to develop the website and create entire brand identity for Havem.
The branding of the consultancy has to be professional and trustworthy. A balance needed to be made so it appears calm but not boring. In the end, we chose a colour palette and font that are vivi and crisp, at the same time also represent quality and intellectuality.
The website was designed to be informative with clean structure. The provided services were presented clearly on the homepage at a glance, and were also viewable in detail in each separate pages.

Home page – the company name ‘Havem’ comes from 2 orientation. ‘H’ is the initial of the founder; ‘Avem’ means a bird of prey in Latin. These kind of birds have eye for detail and they see the details from great height. They are very target oriented. These represent the most valued quality in the pharmaceutical industry – focus and helicopter view. We chose the owl as an representing animal as it is also perceived as related to wisdom.

And of course this website is responsive.
While designing the logo, a few options were considered to utilize the letter ‘a’ or ‘v’ and turn it into a shape of the bird. In the end, this more subtle design was selected to represent the brand connotation implicitly.
